Be Fire Safe

- Have a working smoke detector on each floor of your home.  Change the batteries two times per year (when you change your clocks).

- Have an escape plan for your home and practice it with family members.

- A working fire extinguisher near the kitchen is helpful, but know the proper way to operate it.  Don't put yourself in danger.

- If you have a fire, get out, go to a neighbor's house and call 911.

- Stay out until the fire department says it is ok to enter the structure again.

Follow these simple tips and enjoy a fire safe Summer.
